The Advance Auto Parts Championship Night at Grandview Speedway was filled with action, leaving fans thrilled. The evening witnessed a mix of repeat and first-time winners, promising to be a memorable event for years to come!
Modified Feature Highlights
Ryan Watt from Boyertown, PA, made a strong late-race push in the 30-lap T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modified event. He overtook Ryan Graver of Lehighton, PA on lap 28 and managed to fend off challenges from Graver and his son, Logan Watt, in the nail-biting final laps. This victory marked Watt’s second of the season and his seventh career win in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series.
First-Time Winner in Sportsman Division
Mike Loney, returning to Grandview Speedway racing in August, seized the lead from Stephen Smith III on lap ten in the 25-lap T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman feature. He withstood late challenges from Parker Guldin and Colin Cox to claim his first Grandview win.
Championship Showdown
The night also served as the final point racing event, making it particularly intense for the T.P. Trailer Modified division, where four contenders had a shot at the title. Colin Cox had already secured his first championship title in the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman division before the night started.
Point Standing Updates
Duane Howard of Oley, PA finished fourteenth but earned enough points to claim his seventh T.P. Trailer Modified title. Louden Reimert made an impressive climb from seventeenth to fourth but fell short in his quest for the championship.
Vintage Racing Action
The Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars participated as well, with Gage Phillips winning in the Modified category and Sven Olson in Sportsman. Both winners received additional bonuses from T.P. Trailers and Truck Equipment.
