LINCOLN, Neb., Dec. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Sandhills Global’s market analysis for November indicates significant challenges for used truck dealers, a slight increase in used agricultural equipment sales, and sluggish movement in the used heavy machinery sector, with some dealers shifting focus to rental options. These reports encompass used trucks, trailers, agricultural implements, and construction machinery across platforms like TruckPaper.com, TractorHouse.com, and MachineryTrader.com.

According to Truck Paper Manager Scott Lubischer, “The day cab segment is facing the toughest market conditions right now.” He noted that inventory is aging, urging dealers who haven’t adjusted prices to do so in accordance with market realities.

TractorHouse Manager Ryan Dolezal observed a rise in sales as the year end approaches, infusing a sense of optimism, albeit tempered by slower sales compared to previous years. He stressed the importance of competitive pricing.

A pivotal metric in all Sandhills reports is the Sandhills Equipment Value Index (EVI). This index serves as a tool for both buyers and sellers to track equipment market conditions, aiding in making informed acquisition and liquidation decisions. The EVI provides data on equipment available through auctions and retail markets as well as information on actively used model-year equipment.

Market Report Overview
The Sandhills reports focus on key fluctuations in the used heavy-duty truck, semi-trailer, agricultural machinery, and construction equipment sectors. Here’s a summary of current trends, with full reports available upon request.
