Luverne Truck Equipment Celebrates New Headquarters and 50th Anniversary
On May 10, 2013, Luverne Truck Equipment unveiled its newly renovated corporate headquarters, coinciding with preparations for its 50th anniversary celebration. The guest list encompasses key business and political figures from both state and local levels, along with customers and former and current employees of the company.

John Schulzetenberg, the President and CEO of Luverne, stated, “Our achievements over the last fifty years are attributed to our committed employees, over 5,000 loyal customers, and our collaborative relationship with the city of Brandon, as well as county and state economic development agencies. We have invited all of them to participate in our celebration.”
Company History
Founded in 1963 in Luverne, Minnesota, Luverne Truck Equipment was the first business to establish itself in the Brandon Industrial Park in 1985. The company now operates from an eight-acre campus where it employs nearly 200 individuals, occupying over 216,000 square feet for its office, manufacturing, and warehousing needs.

Luverne Truck Equipment is recognized as a leading manufacturer of high-quality accessories for trucks and SUVs. The company takes pride in producing nearly all of its products in Brandon, South Dakota, differentiating itself from many competitors whose items are produced overseas. Key products include grille guards, nerf bars, various types of side steps, bed rails, splash guards, and similar items.
Specialized Divisions
The RETRAC Mirror division of the company focuses on manufacturing exterior mirrors and front-end protection for OEMs and the aftermarket, catering to light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, fire trucks, and specialized vehicles, including military applications.
Automotive Innovations
Additionally, the APM Automotive division produces ram air hoods, which are crafted from blow-molded plastic and fiberglass, designed for both automobiles and trucks.
