Grandview Speedway Racing Returns This Saturday
This season has seen intense competition, and Grandview Speedway is set to resume events with a double-header featuring the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts this Saturday night.
Saturday’s Race Schedule
The May 16 program will showcase the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds alongside the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman. Each division will participate in qualifying races leading to the main events: a 30-lap Modified race and a 25-lap Sportsman event.
Event Timing and Admission Fees
Gates will open early for fans, with pit gates available starting at 3:30 pm, grandstand gates at 4:30 pm, and warm-ups commencing at 5:30 pm. The main event is set to kick off at 6:30 pm. Admission for adults in the grandstand is $20, while students aged 10-15 can enter for $10, and children aged 9 and under are free. Pit entry costs $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
Status of Upcoming Races
Due to a rain out last Saturday, the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds were supposed to have TWIN 25-LAP FEATURES but have been rescheduled for May 30.
Thunder on the Hill Racing Series Announcement
The first event of the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series will occur next Tuesday, May 19 (with a rain date set for May 20). This will feature the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing Roto-Rooter Midweek 410 Sprint Series at Grandview Speedway. The event is sponsored by Levan Machine & Truck Equipment and RICH MAR Florist.
Notable Drivers and Bonus Information
Anticipated drivers include Ryan Timms, Tyler Courtney, Kyle Larson, and defending champion Rico Abreu, among others, competing for a grand prize of $20,000. Additionally, Alpine Building Supply will award a $2,000 bonus if a driver from Pennsylvania outperforms the High Limit competitors to win the 35-lap Hodnett Cup, dedicated to the late Greg Hodnett.
Upcoming Events and Ticket Information
Tickets for the May 19 race can be purchased now at HIGHLIMITRACING.COM. Advance ticket holders will be admitted early at 4:30 pm, with general admission tickets available from 5 pm. Following the opening ceremonies, heat races are set to begin at 7:35 pm.
Point Standings and Next Races
After the recent rain out, the point standings for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified and Sportsman divisions remain unchanged. The next double-header is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, featuring both Modifieds and Sportsman competition, alongside the Outlaw Racing Series vintage cars.
