Championship Night at Grandview Speedway

This Saturday night, Grandview Speedway will honor its track champions!

Months of dedication, intense racing, tough competition, impressive driving, and fun family entertainment will all come together for the crowning of the T.P. Trailer Modified and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman champions on September 13.

The event will feature another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series racing night, showcasing T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds, T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman, and Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars, with sponsorship from Advance Auto Parts, the title sponsor of NASCAR’s Weekly Series.

This exciting night will include qualifying races leading up to a 30-lap feature for the T.P. Trailer Modifieds, a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, and a 15-lap main event for Vintage cars. Pit gates will open at 3:30 PM, grandstand gates at 5 PM, warm-ups will begin at 5:45 PM, and racing will kick off at 7 PM.

Admission for adults in the grandstand is $20, while students ages 10-15 with ID pay $10, and children aged 9 and under get in free. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

This Saturday’s event is part of Advance Auto Parts Night, following a weather postponement last week when the company was to sponsor the program. Additionally, Advance Auto Parts hosted a special event in Boyertown, PA last Thursday, providing a meet and greet with drivers Ryan and Logan Watt, along with giveaways and free tickets for the upcoming races.

Note: Free tickets issued from last Thursday’s event will be valid for admission to this Saturday’s races only. The night will also feature the last trivia contest of the month, where fans can answer Grandview Speedway-related questions for a chance to win prizes such as race tickets, T-shirts, or gift cards.

Championship Overview

The battle for the T.P. Trailer Modified championship has seen multiple drivers take the lead over the last few weeks. Duane Howard currently leads the standings by 160 points over Mike Gular, with a total of 310 points possible for any driver in the final event, making for an exciting finish.

In contrast, Colin Cox in the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman division has built an impressive 874-point lead, ensuring a more relaxed final night for him. Positions in the top ten remain competitive, promising a thrilling atmosphere as the season wraps up.

Upcoming Events

Following championship night, the Freedom 76 weekend of racing will commence on Friday, September 19 with the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman Freedom 38, culminating in the 55th annual T.P. Trailer Modified Freedom 76 on Saturday, September 20 at 7 PM.

The season’s final race will occur on Saturday, September 27, showcasing the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro & Vintage cars, along with Pro 4 Series Four Cylinders, Slingshots, and Xcel 600 Modifieds. The evening will also feature Halloween festivities for kids, with a rain date set for October 4.

Grandview Speedway has been hosting exciting NASCAR stock car racing every Saturday night since the 1960s and is located at 43 Passmore Road, Bechtelsville, PA, just off Route 100, ten miles north of Pottstown. For further details, visit www.grandviewspeedway.com or contact at 610.754.7688.
