Trump Takes the Wheel of a Big Rig at the White House
In a surprising yet light-hearted moment, President Donald Trump was seen exploring a big rig outside the White House as he worked to garner support for his health care reform bill. This unique encounter took place on a Thursday afternoon when he met with truck drivers and industry executives.
During the gathering, Trump happily climbed into the cab of a parked tractor-trailer, honking the horn and pretending to drive the vehicle, much to the amusement of onlookers and social media users who quickly began using the hashtag #TrumpTruck on Twitter.

Trump, 70, dressed in a suit, praised truckers during the meeting, stating, “No one knows America like truckers know America.” He acknowledged the challenges they face daily as they navigate the country’s roads, filled with hills, valleys, and potholes that need repairing.
While engaging in friendly banter with the group, Trump also shifted focus back to the pressing matter of health care legislation. He expressed confidence that a vote on the repeal and replacement of former President Barack Obama’s health care law was imminent. “It’s close not because Obamacare’s good — it’s close for politics. They know it’s no good. Everybody knows it’s no good,” he remarked.
In a humorous twist, Trump joked about his time spent with the truckers. “I’m not going to make it too long, because I have to get votes,” he quipped, eliciting laughter from the room. “I don’t want to spend too much time with you. I’m going to lose by one vote and then I’m going to blame the truckers.”
