The Reading Truck Group has entered into an agreement to purchase Mastercraft Truck Equipment, a provider of commercial truck and van solutions based in Colorado.
With two facilities situated in Colorado, acquiring the privately held Mastercraft Truck Equipment supports Reading Truck’s growth plans, expanding its footprint to 24 locations across the nation.
“Founded in 1983, Mastercraft has been delivering outstanding upfitting and parts services to its work truck and van body clients for nearly 40 years. They have built a strong reputation for effectively addressing the upfitting and equipment requirements of their customers, which aligns well with Reading Truck’s objectives,” commented Jeff Conrad, Interim President and CFO of The Reading Truck Group. “They are an excellent addition to our network of Reading Truck centers and our brand.”

Moreover, the integration of Mastercraft Truck Equipment into J.B. Poindexter & Co.’s business units enhances its portfolio and strengthens Reading Truck’s presence throughout the country.
Operating since 1983, Mastercraft Truck Equipment currently has two locations in the Denver, Colorado area, specializing in work truck and van upfitting, as well as equipment sales and installation.
