Kenworth Truck Co. Seminar Announcement
Kenworth Truck Co. will present the latest updates regarding its Class 6 and Class 7 vehicles during a seminar focused on chassis updates. This event is set for Tuesday, March 6, from 3 to 4:15 p.m. at the Indiana Convention Center and RCA Dome in Indianapolis.

The seminar is scheduled alongside The Work Truck Show, which is organized by the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA). Attendees can expect to receive information on medium-duty product advancements, including the new 2007 Paccar PX-6 and PX-8 engines, as well as updates for body builders.

Display Vehicles
At the Work Truck Show, Kenworth will showcase two 2008 model T300s at booth No. 3115. One T300 Class 6 model, featuring a wheel lift-equipped rollback for recovery applications, includes the new Paccar PX-6 medium-duty engine offering 220 horsepower and 520 pounds-feet of torque. The other model, also a T300 Class 6, comes with a van body and features a Paccar PX-6 engine rated at 300 horsepower and 620 pounds-feet of torque.
Vehicle Specifications
Both T300 models are fitted with a five-speed Allison 2000 series automatic transmission and a Kenworth in-dash electronic shift module. The T300 supports front axle ratings ranging from 8,000 to 14,600 pounds and rear axle ratings from 16,000 to 40,000 pounds. It is available in both Class 6 and 7 configurations, suitable for both CDL and non-CDL applications, offering new Class 6 ratings of 24,000, 25,000, and 26,000 pounds GVWR.
New Medium-Duty Product Line
Among Kenworth’s medium-duty offerings is the new K360 cabover, rated at 26,000 pounds GVWR. This model is designed for urban pick-up and delivery services requiring a highly maneuverable truck, accommodating 22- to 26-foot bodies. It features a 5.9-liter Paccar engine that delivers 220 horsepower with a maximum torque of 605 pounds-feet, along with 6-speed manual transmissions in a 4×2 configuration featuring either mechanical or air suspension.
