MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Early Monday morning, two individuals involved in a film production were injured when a box truck collided with equipment during a shoot in Manhattan, according to official reports.
Details of the Incident
The incident was reported around 6:02 a.m. at the intersection of West Houston Street and Sullivan Street, specifically in front of 124 W. Houston St., as per the NYPD.
Injuries Reported
A white box truck, traveling west on West Houston Street, struck a lift containing a 34-year-old man, leading to his fall. Subsequently, a 66-year-old man on the ground was hit by the falling lift, police stated.
Driver Fleeing the Scene
The truck continued westward towards Sixth Avenue and did not stop after the collision, authorities reported.
Medical Response
Both injured men were transported to a nearby hospital, but their current medical conditions have not yet been disclosed.
