Healthy Fleet Launches New Mobile App for May Challenge
Healthy Fleet has announced that its upcoming challenge in May will utilize a free mobile app to assist participants in tracking their weight loss journey.
The previous challenge, held in January and February, saw participants collectively shed 579 pounds. The initiative, part of the 10-pound challenge, involved members of the American Trucking Associations America’s Road Team Captains, aimed at fostering health and wellness in the trucking sector. Following the positive response to the initial challenge, the organization is now transitioning to a smartphone platform based on participant suggestions.
Mobile App Features
“We are set to launch an app for both iOS and Android for our challenge starting in May,” stated Aaron Lindsay, Healthy Fleet’s VP of marketing. “This app will simplify meal and exercise tracking, coaching, and team support for drivers on the road as well as office staff.”
The new app is designed with various features to assist truckers in achieving their health objectives, including:
- Coaching Feed: Provides expert advice on nutrition and fitness to aid participants in leading healthier lives.
- Goal Setting: Enables users to establish personal goals such as improving their well-being, building muscle, losing weight, enhancing sleep, and more.
- Team Feed: Allows participants to form teams with coworkers and friends for motivation both at work and on the road.
- Feedback: Offers users the chance to receive guidance and support from coaches, friends, and colleagues.
- Personal Feed: Participants can opt to share their dietary and exercise habits with their team or keep them private between themselves and their coach.
- Rewards: Organizations can leverage the app to provide incentives for employees pursuing healthier lifestyles.
