Transervice Logistics Supports Literacy Initiatives
LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — For the fourth year in a row, employees at Transervice Logistics Inc. have gathered books, CDs, DVDs, and magazines for The Book Fairies, aimed at benefiting under-resourced communities across Long Island and New York City.
Since partnering with The Book Fairies in 2019, Transervice has contributed nearly 1,700 books from its various facilities. Additionally, the company played a role in a Guinness World Record event in 2020, helping set the record for the longest line of books, measuring 3.81 miles, at two elementary schools in New York.
“Our team eagerly anticipates The Book Fairies challenge each year and is wholeheartedly dedicated to its mission of reducing illiteracy rates in our region,” stated Sean Schnipper, Transervice’s director of marketing.
