The excitement is building for race drivers set to take part in the Freedom weekend of racing at Grandview Speedway, scheduled for September 19 and 20. With all laps for the lap money sold out in the Freedom 76, numerous fans and local businesses have stepped up to sponsor, with some laps even being sponsored multiple times.
Lap Sponsorship Opportunities
Lap sponsorships for the 12th annual Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship on September 19 are still open for purchase. Bonus Payouts for Champions
Multiple bonuses have been announced for both the Freedom 76 T.P. Trailer Modified Championship and the Freedom 38 T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman Championship events. On September 19, the Freedom 38 winner will receive a $500 bonus from the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series, boosting the prize from $2,063 to $2,563. If they have participated in all the Saturday NASCAR point races this season, an additional $500 boosts the potential winnings to $3,063!
On September 20, the Freedom 76 winner will gain a $1,000 bonus, raising the total payout from $30,063 to $31,063. An added $1,000 for those who have completed all Saturday point races this season can bring winnings to a potential $32,063. The $63 in the payout commemorates Grandview Speedway’s 63rd racing anniversary.
Additional Awards and Recognitions
Roy Miller II from Keller Williams Real Estate will sponsor a Cash Dash worth $500 for the Freedom 38 heat race winners. For the Freedom 76, GT Radiator Repairs of Ambler, PA will sponsor a cash dash of $1,000 to the winners of the T.P. Trailer Modified heats. Several other bonus awards are available for various achievements during the races, including the Hard Charger awards sponsored in memory of Ernie Saxton.
Event Details and Admission
The Freedom 76 weekend kicks off with the Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship on September 19, known as “Fans for Five Friday,” where admission is just $5 for the grandstand. Children under 9 can enter free. On September 20, the 55th annual Freedom 76 will feature the T.P. Trailer 358 Modifieds, with tickets priced at $40 for adults.
Camping and General Information
