Grandview Speedway Set for Triple-Header Racing Event
After a weather-induced week off, Grandview Speedway is gearing up for its first triple-header program of the season this Saturday night.
Upcoming Racing Program
This Saturday, May 2, the night’s racing will fall under the NASCAR Local Racing Series powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts, featuring the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds, T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman, and the Keystone Sports Compact Series, sponsored by Hoffman Speed Supplies/Hoffman Discount Parts based in New Tripoli, PA.
Schedule of Events
The evening will include qualifying races leading up to the featured events: a 30-lap race for the Modifieds, a 25-lap race for the Sportsman, and a 25-lap race for the Keystone Sports Compact Series. Racing will begin at 6:30 PM, with pit gates opening at 3:30 PM and grandstand gates at 4:30 PM, followed by warm-ups at 5:30 PM.
Admission Prices
General admission is $20 for adults, $10 for students aged 10-15 with ID, and free for children aged 9 and under. Pit admission costs $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
History of the Keystone Sports Compact Series
This marks the third consecutive season that the Keystone Sports Compact Series sponsored by Hoffman Speed Supplies/Hoffman Discount Parts will visit Grandview Speedway on a Saturday night, with Dan Stein Jr. winning in 2024 and Adam Kratzer taking the victory last year.
Upcoming Special Event
Following this Saturday’s races, the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds will feature TWIN 25-LAP MODIFIED EVENTS next Saturday, May 9. This evening is also Checkered Flag Fan Club night and will consist of the usual qualifying events leading to the twin features, along with a complete show for the Sportsman division.
Point Standings Update
As of last week’s rainout, the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified point standings remain the same, with Eddie Strada in the lead, followed by Rick Laubach, Jeff Strunk, Anthony Perrego, and Brett Kressley. In the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman division, Addison Meitzler and Joe Toth are tied for first, with Colin Cox just four points behind them.
