On October 17, independent singer-songwriter and Everhart Transportation driver Tony Justice completed a two-day vocal session for his upcoming third studio album focused on trucking music. He celebrated this milestone with friends, associates, and media.
Justice received a special record from his close friend J.D. Walker, who presented it to acknowledge Justice’s achievement of selling 50,000 units since the release of his album “On the Road,” followed by “Apple Pie Moonshine” in late 2013.
The majority of these sales occurred at truck stops across the country, highlighting not only the excellence of Justice’s work but also the extensive efforts he and his wife, Misty, have made in securing distribution deals with truck stop suppliers.
In an Episode of the Overdrive Radio podcast, Justice elaborated on his hard work as well as the ongoing recording sessions for his new album, tentatively titled “Brothers of the Highway.” This album will feature 13 tracks, including the title song, which he plans to record as a duet with legendary singer-songwriter Aaron Tippin, who has a background as a long-haul trucker.
