Roadmaster Expands in Atlanta with $1.1 Million Investment

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Roadmaster Drivers School (RDS) has announced a significant investment of $1.1 million into its newly relocated and renovated training facility in Atlanta, Georgia.

Commitment to Accessible CDL Training

“Roadmaster aims to make CDL training more attractive and accessible to younger individuals by emphasizing quick entry into a secure career, advanced training equipment, and high earning potential,” stated Brad Ball, president of RDS. “This investment in our Atlanta campus signals our dedication both to the area and to assisting qualified candidates in entering the workforce and building a prosperous future.”

Supporting Workforce Development

The improved campus showcases Roadmaster’s dedication to workforce development, equipping individuals with the skills needed to acquire Class A Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDL)—critical for achieving stable, well-paying jobs that keep the country moving.

Snapshot of the Trucking Industry

As outlined in a company press release, the trucking industry is integral to the American economy, providing competitive salaries, job availability nationwide, and enduring career stability. The profession is evolving with a growing focus on safety technology, quality customer service, and varied route options that enhance work-life balance.

Addressing Modern Challenges

“Today’s drivers encounter challenges like utilizing advanced safety technologies and ensuring safe driving in heavy traffic,” said Ball. “Roadmaster equips students with the skills to meet these challenges through hands-on driving experience, trip planning, defensive driving techniques, and state-of-the-art training that aligns with current industry standards and regulations.”

Comprehensive and Efficient Training Program

The revamped Georgia facility aims to eliminate barriers hindering potential drivers. It offers a spacious environment to accommodate more students while maintaining high-quality instruction. Modern training vehicles, including automatic transmission trucks, prepare graduates for the technologies they will face on the job.

Investing in Georgia’s Workforce

“In addition to training individual drivers, Roadmaster’s investment in Georgia signifies a larger commitment to workforce development and local economic growth,” the press release emphasizes. The school plans to strengthen ties with employers and workforce organizations to align its training programs with real-time hiring needs.

Roadmaster Drivers School in Georgia is now accepting applications. Prospective students and press are encouraged to visit the campus to explore training programs and career opportunities in the trucking industry.

“We eagerly anticipate meeting adventurous residents of Georgia who are ready to embark on an exciting new career,” Ball remarked. “Trucking is more than just a job; it’s a respected, essential, and increasingly lucrative profession today.”
