Ryder System Inc. Introduces New Insurance Services
Ryder System Inc., a company specializing in supply chain solutions, dedicated transportation, and commercial fleet management, has announced the launch of new insurance services in collaboration with REIN for customers purchasing used vehicles. REIN provides both embedded and digital insurance products.
Embedded Insurance: A Key Innovation
Embedded insurance is rapidly becoming essential for the transportation industry as it transitions to offering comprehensive service bundles. This approach enables companies to offer direct insurance solutions to customers right at the point of sale, as highlighted by Ryder, which is based in Miami.
Addressing Customer Needs
“Finding and understanding the right truck insurance policy is a frequent challenge for our clients,” stated Eugene Tangney, Ryder’s vice president of used vehicle sales, in a press release. “By offering a diverse range of relevant coverage options through REIN’s embedded offerings, in conjunction with other Ryder advantages like flexible financing, warranties, and preventive maintenance, we can assist our customers in meeting their business objectives more efficiently.”
Enhancing Customer Experience
“Partnering with REIN to introduce these new insurance offerings aligns with our commitment to improving the customer experience from purchasing a used vehicle to ensuring it on the road,” said Eugene Tangney, Ryder VP of used vehicles sales. https://t.co/UC6qTKy3cX
