Quick question — which professions are currently offering the highest pay increases? Web developers? Network engineers?
Absolutely, but also consider positions like cashiers, delivery drivers, and bank tellers.
According to Glassdoor’s list of jobs with the most significant wage growth over the past year, there’s a mix of high-skill roles as well as lower-skill, lower-wage jobs where demand is robust. Some of these positions have experienced stagnant pay for an extended period, making them overdue for increases, notes Andrew Chamberlain, chief economist at the job-posting platform.
“The strong labor market today may be beginning to boost wages across various income levels,” says Chamberlain.
