Upcoming High Limit 410 Sprints at Grandview Speedway

Just a few days remain until the High Limit 410 Sprints take on the Hill at Grandview Speedway on Tuesday, May 20. This event, presented by Levan Machine & Truck Equipment, is part of the Rich Mar Florist Kubota High Limit 410 Sprints Roto Rooter Mid-Week Series and signifies the opening of the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series at Grandview.

The exciting lineup features renowned 410 Sprint drivers, including past High Limit Thunder on the Hill victors Rico Abreu and Pennsylvania’s own Brent Marks. They will be joined by Brad Sweet, a five-time World of Outlaw Champion and current High Limit points leader from Grass Valley, CA, along with Tanner Thorson of Minden, NV, Kasey Kahne from Enumclaw, WA, and several others. Local racers will also vie for the $20,000 prize, with a $2,000 bonus for any local Pennsylvania driver who claims victory.

The Rich Mar Florist Kubota High Limit 410 Sprints event will begin with Time Trials, followed by qualifying events leading up to the 35-lap feature race. Participants will earn a minimum of $1,500 just for starting the main event, making this a highly competitive race. Additionally, the Alpine Building Supply Vintage Cars will compete in two 12-lap races, adding to the evening’s excitement.

Advance tickets can be purchased at TicketHoss.com, allowing entry through the first turn grandstand gate from 4:30 PM for preferred seating. General admission tickets will be available from 5:00 PM, with warm-ups and time trials commencing at 7 PM and the main event kicking off at 7:30 PM. Local trumpet player Eric Haney will perform the National Anthem during the opening ceremonies. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled for Wednesday, May 21, starting at 7:30 PM.

On race night, general admission tickets cost $40 for adults, $20 for kids aged 6-11, and free for children 5 and under. The Pit Fee stands at $45, with no license required (Pit tickets are not available via Ticket Hoss).

Alpine Building Supply will also be offering a special edition shirt celebrating the Alpine Thunder on the Hill Racing Series, featuring various sprint cars. Proceeds from the sale will support the Big Impact Group of Schuylkill County, a mentoring program for local youth. Shirts will be priced at $20 for sizes up to XL and $25 for larger sizes.

Following this event, the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder Series will resume with the USAC Non-Wing Sprints on Tuesday, June 17, also starting at 7:30 PM. The season finale is scheduled for July 1, featuring the Pennsylvania 410 Sprints Speed Week Series and 358 Modifieds. Mark your calendars for an exhilarating racing experience!
