Exciting Race Night at Grandview Speedway
This Saturday, Grandview Speedway will host a thrilling two-division race night featuring three main events!
The NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series will take place on June 21, highlighted by the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman. Notably, the Sportsman division will debut a Twin 20-lap feature program, marking a historic first at the track!
The evening will kick off with qualifying rounds for both divisions, leading to the Twin 20-lap features for the Sportsman and a 30-lap feature for the Modifieds.
Fans holding a rain check or pit wristband from May 17 can use them for this event, however, ticket holders will need to pay an additional fee (adults $3 more, students $2 more; pit prices remain unchanged). This will be the final opportunity to utilize May 17 rain checks.
Before the races, there will be a Low Down and Dirty meet and greet hosted by Brittany Huber. Fans can meet drivers like Brett Kressley, Mike Gular, Chase Gular, and Gavyn Krupp starting at 5 pm at the main gate area, providing a chance to collect autographs and discuss racing.
Additionally, the event will feature a fan participation Trivia night, where attendees can answer questions about Grandview Speedway for a chance to win prizes, tickets, or gift cards. These trivia contests have proven to be very popular!
Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates at 5:30 pm. Warm-ups are scheduled for 6:15 pm, and racing will commence at 7:30 pm. Admission prices are set at $23 for adults, $12 for students (10-15 with ID), and free for children under 9. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman drivers are eager to return to the track after cancellations in the past three weeks. This Saturday marks the first time ever for a Twin 20-lap feature, a departure from the usual 25-lap races since the division’s inception in 2012. Notable past special events include 40-lap races, 38-lap season championships, and one 50-lap race for the track’s anniversary.
A competitive field is anticipated, featuring newcomers Colin Cox and Lawson Szerencits along with Jesse Landis and top drivers like Adrianna Delliponti and Mike Gular. In the Modified division, this year has seen only four features run, with Brian Hirthler and Chris Esposito notching their second wins, while Brett Kressley and Jeff Strunk also added to their career triumphs.
Upcoming events at Grandview include a rain date for the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Vintage Cars on June 27 and a triple-division show on June 28. For more details, visit www.grandviewspeedway.com or call 610.754.7688.
