Press Release: February 20, 2025
The University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) is pleased to announce that six student ambassadors from the College of Applied Technologies will represent the university at the National Truck Equipment Association’s (NTEA) Work Truck Week. This premier industry event is scheduled to take place in Indianapolis, IN, from March 4-7, 2025.
Overview of Work Truck Week
Described as an essential gathering for professionals in the work truck sector, Work Truck Week combines a trade show featuring over 500,000 square feet of vocational trucks and equipment with a variety of classes and seminars. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with thousands of industry experts, schedule meetings with existing suppliers or clients, troubleshoot technical challenges, and engage with peers during special events and receptions.
Collaboration with NTEA
UNOH has maintained a partnership with NTEA for the last seventeen years, enabling students to serve as ambassadors at the event. These student ambassadors will assist attendees and provide support during various classes and seminars. By joining the event, they will gain exposure to emerging technologies in the industry and explore potential career opportunities.
Participation in Special Events
In addition to their role at the event, the students will also participate in coordinating the Ride and Drive event at the Green Truck Summit. This unique experience allows attendees to test work trucks powered by Natural Gas, Propane, Hybrid Electric/Hydraulic, and full Electric Power systems.

The six students selected to represent UNOH at Work Truck Week include Aaron Amoroso from Greensburg, PA; George Boch from Geneva, OH; Jolie Bourgeois from Macedon, NY; Bradley Kolb from West Harrison, IN; Evan Kuhn also from West Harrison, IN; and Aidan Santiago from Middleville, MI. The selection process involved nominations from their instructors, followed by interviews.
