Drag Racing Results
Jim Peddicord was crowned the King of The Hill Drag Racing Champion, with Fred Angle as the runner-up. While the trophies are prestigious, Gear Jammer Magazine owner Bob Conrad emphasized that the main goal is to raise funds for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation, supporting autism research.
Community Impact
Conrad, although not a trucker himself, has a deep admiration for trucks and has shared this passion with his children who accompanied him to truck shows across America. The event aims to address autism awareness, a cause Conrad adopted after observing a gap in representation within the trucking community.
Future Events
With over $120,000 raised for charity, Conrad intends to make this show an annual event on the third weekend of July. Additionally, a new truck show is scheduled for August 30 at the East Freehold Showgrounds in New Jersey, promising trophies, food trucks, and more.
