Tri-State Truck and Equipment Transfers Assets to TranSource
Effective November 11, 2025, Tri-State Truck and Equipment, Inc. has completed an asset purchase that includes the leases and inventory from five dealership locations across Montana and Wyoming, which also encompasses much of the western panhandle of Nebraska. As part of this transaction, TranSource will take over Tri-State’s Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks dealerships.
TranSource Expands Its Reach
With its headquarters in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, TranSource has been operational for over six decades. This acquisition raises its total number of locations to ten. In the newly acquired regions of Montana and Wyoming, the company will provide a range of equipment including articulated haul trucks, excavators, wheel loaders, rigid haulers, compact equipment, compactors, as well as various services. In Nebraska, TranSource will offer a comprehensive selection of general-purpose equipment and compact machines, although compactors will not be available.
Established Volvo CE Dealer
TranSource has been a proud Volvo CE dealer in the Midwest since 2017. This recent acquisition signifies the company’s second territorial expansion within the year.
