Delaware State Police Identify Fatal Truck Accident Victim
Delaware State Police have confirmed the identity of the truck driver who lost his life in a solo vehicle accident on I-95, which occurred on September 29.
Victim Details
The deceased driver has been identified as 46-year-old George Sensenig from Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania.
Accident Circumstances
The police stated that the incident took place on I-95 south, just before the Churchmans Road underpass, around 2:30 p.m. on September 29. According to officials, the truck suddenly braked and veered into the concrete median, ejecting Sensenig from the vehicle.
Seatbelt Status
During the investigation, it was revealed that Sensenig was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Ongoing Investigation
The Collision Reconstruction Unit of the Delaware State Police Troop 2 is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. They are asking anyone who witnessed the accident or has additional information to contact Sergeant J. Jefferson at (302) 365-8484.
