Diverse Musical Styles
This album showcases various themes diverging from the usual sound of Big Truck. The track “Insects” incorporates a punk attitude and comments on how society functions like worker insects, sustaining a corporate machine. The closing song, “Bury The Ocean,” was the final addition to the album and features powerful guitar riffs leading to an epic conclusion, offering a hopeful reminder that we can overcome current challenges.
Signature Sound and Style
As expected from Trucker Diablo, this album is filled with large riffs, catchy choruses, and dynamic performances. From the sing-along vibe of “Rock Kids of the 80s” to the energetic “Insects,” the punchy “Slow Dance,” and the reflective “Woodstock to Vietnam,” which narrates the diverging paths of two friends from the 1960s hippie movement, listeners will feel as if the Big Truck has parked right outside their door, inviting them in.
