Clarification on Keith Urban’s Interview
Reports suggesting that Keith Urban abruptly ended an interview after being asked about his wife, Nicole Kidman, are not entirely correct. According to sources, he was not the one who terminated the conversation.
Urban was speaking with Australia’s Mix 102.3’s Hayley & Max in the Morning on July 1 when the hosts inquired about a scene from a movie featuring Kidman and Zac Efron. A representative clarified that Urban did not deliberately disconnect from the interview, despite claims made by the radio hosts and various media outlets, including Taste of Country.
“He doesn’t run his Zoom interviews. This is a total non-issue,” shared an unnamed source.
The query centered on an intimate scene in the Netflix film titled A Family Affair, which showcases several passionate moments between Kidman and Efron. The upcoming 2024 project also stars Joey King and Kathy Bates.
When the radio team asked, “What does Keith think about Nicole’s interactions with younger co-stars on screen?” Urban initially responded with, “Oh, yeah, that’s a good one,” but was then unexpectedly disconnected from the Zoom.
Recently, Kidman and Urban marked their 19th wedding anniversary. Although Urban did not post a message on social media, he commented on his wife’s Instagram tribute. “Happy anniversary, baby,” she captioned a black-and-white image of them embracing, to which Urban replied with a heart emoji.
The couple shares two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, and they frequently walk the red carpet together at film and music award events. Kidman often joins Urban on his tours as well. Urban’s 2025 High and Alive Tour commenced in May and runs until October, although he is currently enjoying a break, with his next performance scheduled for July 17 in Colorado.
