Clarification on Keith Urban’s Interview
Recent reports suggesting that Keith Urban ended an interview after being asked about his wife, Nicole Kidman, are not fully accurate.
Sources state that Urban was not the one who terminated the interview. He appeared on Australia’s Mix 102.3’s Hayley & Max in the Morning on Tuesday morning (July 1) when the hosts posed a question related to a scene between Kidman and Zac Efron.
Misinterpretation of Events
Contrary to what some outlets, including Taste of Country, reported, it was claimed by an insider that Urban did not hang up. “He doesn’t host his Zoom interviews. This is a complete nothingburger,” remarked the unnamed source.
Question about A Family Affair
The question in question revolved around an intimate scene from the Netflix film, A Family Affair, featuring passionate moments between Kidman and Efron. The film also stars Joey King and Kathy Bates and is set for release in 2024.
Urban’s Response
When the radio team asked, “What does Keith think about seeing Nicole with younger co-stars on screen?” Urban initially replied, “Oh, yeah that’s a good one,” but was then disconnected during the ongoing question.
Anniversary Celebration
Just last week, Urban and Kidman marked 19 years of marriage. Although he did not post a message on social media, he responded to Kidman’s tribute on Instagram, where she wrote, “Happy anniversary baby,” alongside a black-and-white photo of them.
Family Life
The couple shares two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, and are often seen together on the red carpet for various events. Kidman frequently accompanies Urban on his concert tours as well.
Upcoming Tour Schedule
Urban’s 2025 High and Alive Tour commenced in May and runs through October. Currently, he is taking a short break, with his next performance set for July 17 in Colorado.
