Compatibility and Real-Time Insights
HDVI Shift is compatible with various telematics devices and is offered to fleets along with HDVI’s unique data, software tools, and applications. Fleet managers can access real-time safety insights via the fleet portal, while drivers receive safety information through the HDVI Driver+ mobile app.
Insurance Backed by Munich Re Specialty
With insurance supported by carriers under Munich Re Specialty Insurance, HDVI equips fleets with the necessary data, tools, and coverage to lower insurance expenses, enhance safety, manage risks effectively, and boost operational efficiency, according to a press release from HDVI officials.
Successful Funding Round
HDVI has successfully secured $32.5 million in Series B funding, led by Weatherford Capital. This funding round also saw new investment from Daimler Trucks North America and McVestCo, alongside ongoing support from Munich Re Ventures, 8VC, Autotech Ventures, and Qualcomm Ventures LLC.
