New Leadership at the Green Truck Association

The Green Truck Association, a division of the National Truck Equipment Association, has recently appointed new officers to its board of governors.

Robert Stevens has been elected as the chairman for 2015-16, succeeding Bill Burns. Stevens holds the position of vice president of strategy at Roush CleanTech.

Expressing his gratitude, Stevens stated, “I am thankful for this opportunity to take a leadership role in the Green Truck Association and to utilize this position to advocate for the transition towards alternative fuel technologies.”

Alongside Stevens, Shawn Brougham, the director of marketing and product engineering at Altec Industries, has been appointed as vice chairman. John Davis, chief program engineer for Ford Commercial Vehicles, will serve as treasurer.

The newly elected officers will be joined by Amy Dobrikova, who is the director of strategy and business development for Crosspoint Kinetics; Margo Melendez, manager of transportation technology deployment at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory; and Chris Weiss, vice president of engineering at Knapheide Manufacturing Company.

The Green Truck Association works to promote alternative fuels and sustainable technologies. Founded in 2010, it aims to assist fleets, manufacturers, upfitters, governmental bodies, and other industry participants in keeping abreast of advancements and enhancing the market for green truck solutions.
