A Packed Schedule of Racing at Grandview Speedway!
The upcoming week promises a thrilling lineup of racing events, kicking off this weekend at Grandview Speedway with three races in five days!
Weekend Racing Begins
The racing festivities start with the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Vintage cars on Friday, June 27, at 7 PM. Pit gates will open at 2 PM, while the grandstand will welcome fans starting at 5:30 PM. Admission for the grandstand is $10, and kids aged 12 and under can enter for free. The pit entry fee for Friday’s race is $35.
NASCAR Action on Saturday
On Saturday, June 28, Grandview Speedway will host a NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series event featuring T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman. The Vintage cars will also make a Saturday night appearance. Events will include qualifying rounds leading to a 30-lap Modified feature, a 25-lap Sportsman feature, and a 15-lap Vintage event.
Meet and Greet with Drivers
Before the races start on Saturday night, fans can join the Low Down and Dirty meet and greet, hosted by Brittany Huber. Scheduled drivers include T.P. Trailer Modified racer Eddie Strada and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman competitor Nathan Mohr. This event will take place at the main gate area starting at 5 PM, allowing fans to interact with drivers, collect autographs, and take photos.
Upcoming Special Event: Thunder on the Hill
The weekend will culminate with a Thunder on the Hill Racing Series event on Tuesday, July 1. This event features the powerful 410 Sprint Cars from the Pennsylvania Posse as part of the 35th annual PA Sprint Car Speed Week. The race, known as the Hodnett Cup, honors a legendary driver in Grandview history. The winner of the 35-lap Sprint Car main will receive an impressive $10,000, along with a competitive 358 Modifieds race for a chance to win up to $5,000!
Ticket Information
Advance tickets for the PA Speed Week event can be reserved by calling the Thunder on the Hill ticket line at 443-513-4456. Ticket holders can pick them up on race night and will gain early entry starting at 4:30 PM. General admission tickets will go on sale at 5 PM, with racing starting at 7:30 PM. Adult grandstand admission will be $30, and children aged 6-11 can enter for $10, while kids 5 and under are free. Pit admission is set at $45.
Recent Winners and Upcoming Competitors
In last Saturday’s race, John Willman captured the feature win, marking the fifth different victor in the T.P. Trailer Modified division this season. He joins notable drivers such as Brian Hirthler, Brett Kressley, Chris Esposito, and Jeff Strunk. The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman saw Jesse Landis become the first repeat winner of the season, with other top competitors gearing up for this Saturday’s race.
