This Saturday night promises to be filled with action at Grandview Speedway, as the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds will race in TWIN 25-lap feature events following four weeks of fierce competition. Additionally, fans can expect a full program for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman.

Event Details for May 9

Set to unfold under the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts banner, the event on Saturday, May 9, will feature qualifying races for both divisions leading into the Twin 25-lap Modified features and a 25-lap Sportsman main event.

Schedule and Admission Prices

The pit gates will open at 3 PM, with grandstand gates following at 4 PM. Warm-ups are scheduled to begin at 5 PM, and the first race will take the green flag at 6 PM. Admission for adults is $25, while students aged 10-15 with ID can enter for $10. Children 9 and under can attend free of charge. Pit admission costs $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

Weekend Racing Preview

The weekend at Grandview Speedway kicks off on Friday, May 8, featuring the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Vintage cars alongside the Keystone Sport Compact Series Four Cylinders at 7 PM. On Friday, the pit gates will open at 2 PM, and grandstand gates at 5 PM. Admission for the grandstand is $10, with children 12 and under allowed in free, while pit admission is $35 for the night.

Thunder on the Hill Series Event

Mark your calendars for the first Thunder on the Hill Series event on Tuesday, May 19 (rain date May 20). This event will showcase the Kyle Larson/Brad Sweet Interstate Batteries High Limit 410 Sprint Car Series, with advanced tickets available at HIGHLIMITRACING.COM. Sponsored by Levan Machine & Truck Equipment and RICH MAR Florist, the grandstand gates will open at 4:30 PM for advance ticket holders and at 5 PM for general admission ticket sales.

Recognizing Recent Highlights

Last Saturday saw Ryan Watt claim his first T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature win of the season after a thrilling side-by-side duel with his son, Logan. Both Ryan and Logan now occupy sixth and seventh places in the track’s point standings. Eddie Strada remains the leader in the Modified points following a strong third-place finish, while Rick Laubach and Jared Umbenhauer follow closely behind.

Current Points Standings

In the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman division, defending champion Colin Cox has regained the top position after finishing third in the latest feature. Jimmy Leiby is now in second place after a remarkable climb from sixteenth to fourth. Young driver Matthew Laubach stands fourth in points, having achieved a sixth-place finish after starting from twenty-first. The top fifteen standings for both divisions reflect the intense competition this season.

Grandview Speedway has been delivering thrilling NASCAR stock car racing every Saturday night since the 1960s, running from April through October and hosting special events. Located at 43 Passmore Road, Bechtelsville, PA, the venue is just off Route 100, ten miles north of Pottstown.
