Launch of New Durable Mud Flaps by Go Industries

Go Industries, headquartered in Richardson, Texas, has introduced a new line of robust mud flaps designed specifically for GMC, Chevrolet, and Ford dually trucks. This product expansion aims to meet the distinct protective needs of dual-wheel pickup and flatbed configurations used in various commercial and industrial settings.

Enhancements for Dually Trucks

The newly developed mud flaps for flatbed and pickup trucks boast superior durability, engineered to endure the challenging conditions faced by dual rear wheel vehicles. These mud flaps utilize non-recycled rubber materials and feature reinforced mounting systems compatible with contemporary GMC, Chevrolet, and Ford dually truck models.

Feedback-Driven Development

According to a Go Industries spokesperson, “The launch of these new mud flaps for dually trucks addresses requests from fleet operators for enhanced durability and easier installation.” The engineering team concentrated on creating products that suit the unique spray patterns of dual rear wheel setups while ensuring they work across multiple truck brands.

Product Line Configurations

The new range includes three specific configurations: Classic Dually Sets, Stainless Steel Dually Sets, and Diamond Tread Dually Sets. Each version presents unique aesthetic and functional traits while preserving the essential protective features needed for dual-wheel applications. The modular design facilitates installation on both pickup and flatbed body types commonly used in commercial fleets.

Advanced Materials and Testing

Go Industries has engineered the new mud flap systems with advanced rubber compounds that remain flexible across temperatures from -40 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. The powder-coated steel mounting brackets come with corrosion-resistant hardware, designed for longevity even in harsh environments. Extensive field testing was performed with commercial fleet operators, who provided valuable insights on mounting setups and durability needs, simulating exposure to road salt, gravel impacts, and temperature fluctuations.

Focus on Standardization

Another representative from Go Industries noted that standardization among different truck brands has been a significant factor for commercial fleet managers when making purchasing decisions. This new product line ensures consistent mounting patterns and dimensions across GMC, Chevrolet, and Ford applications.

A Legacy of Innovation

The concept of mud flap technology dates back to 1944, when Oscar Glenn March, a truck driver at Tinker Air Force Base, first named it while tackling vehicle protection challenges during World War II. Modern advancements continue to evolve to comply with current regulatory standards and vehicle specifications.
