New Leadership in NTEA
Frank Livas, the president of Brake & Clutch located in Salem, Massachusetts, has officially taken on the role of the 48th president of the NTEA, which represents the Work Truck Industry.
Transition of Leadership
Livas received the presidential gavel from the outgoing president, Steven Sill, who is also the president of Aspen Equipment Co. in Bloomington, Minnesota. The installation ceremony took place in Indianapolis during the President’s Breakfast and the NTEA Annual Meeting, which coincided with The Work Truck Show 2012.
Career Journey
Frank Livas started his career in high school as a part of his family’s truck equipment distribution company, Brake & Clutch. He has been involved in the business since 1973, beginning as a machinist and equipment installer. Over the years, he transitioned through roles in parts and service, eventually becoming general manager in 1980. In 2006, he was promoted to senior vice president, and in 2011, he became the president and owner.
NTEA Membership Legacy
Livas expressed his pride in his company’s long-standing affiliation with the NTEA, highlighting that it has been a member for 38 years.
