IRVING, Texas, Sept. 27, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — FleetPride, Inc., the leading distributor of truck and trailer parts and service provider in the independent heavy-duty aftermarket, has announced the acquisition of Sam & Sons Truck Equipment in Houston. This company was family-operated by brothers Samuel, Robert, Richard, and their sister, Olivia Olivo.

Established in 1968, Sam & Sons specialized in heavy-duty services. As part of FleetPride, owner Richard Olivo stated, “We look forward to continuing 54 years of legacy alongside our customers and employees.” He expressed confidence that Sam & Sons will prosper even more under FleetPride’s umbrella.

The 26,000 square-foot facility enhances customer service in the greater Houston area by offering specialized services, including liftgate repairs and an onsite 100-foot paint booth for servicing a 54-foot tractor and trailer. This is complemented by FleetPride’s extensive inventory of heavy-duty parts, available locally and nationwide through their e-commerce platform at FleetPride.com. The business has fostered a loyal customer base, many of whom have been clients for over two decades.

“We are grateful for the Olivo family’s trust in preserving their company’s rich heritage,” remarked Mike Harris, FleetPride’s senior vice president of sales and operations. He added that Sam and Sons’ commitment to the heavy-duty sector aligns perfectly with FleetPride’s goal of expanding service for its customers. With this acquisition, FleetPride now operates four locations that enhance service capabilities within the Houston area.

This acquisition marks FleetPride’s seventh of the year as it aims to grow its national parts and service operations. Interested candidates wishing to join the FleetPride network can find more information at FleetPride.com/acquisitions.
