GMC Unveils the Acadia Denali Ultimate for 2026
The 2026 Acadia marks the introduction of GMC’s ultra-premium Denali Ultimate trim within its truck and SUV lineup.
Jaclyn McQuaid, the global VP of Buick and GMC, stated, “Denali Ultimate showcases the highest level of luxury for the GMC brand, merging exquisite craftsmanship with practical capability. By incorporating its unique technologies and design features into the Acadia, we enhance our mid-size vehicle’s competitive edge.”
The exterior of the 2026 GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate is set apart by distinctive elements like the Vader Chrome grille and GMC logo, animated LED daytime running lights, exclusive badging, and 22-inch machined aluminum wheels with an After Midnight Metallic finish.
Inside, the Acadia Denali Ultimate features premium amenities, including heated and ventilated Woodland Mahogany leather seats with massage functions and contrast stitching; Paldao wood accents with laser etching and embossed topographical designs; unique floor mats; and Denali Ultimate badging on the seats.
All 2026 Acadia models will come equipped with a standard Rear Camera Mirror, allowing drivers to switch between a traditional rearview mirror and a camera view, providing an unobstructed rear perspective.
The standard engine for the 2026 GMC Acadia is a 2.5-liter turbocharged unit, producing 328 hp and 326 lb.-ft. of torque, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and offering a maximum towing capacity of up to 5,000 lb.
Manufacturing of the 2026 GMC Acadia will occur at Lansing Delta Township Assembly, with expectations for dealer availability starting in the third quarter of 2025, followed by the Denali Ultimate model later in the year.
