Grandview Speedway Prepares for Racing Under Clear Skies
Management, fans, and competitors at Grandview Speedway are eagerly anticipating dry weather this Saturday night. After experiencing seven rainouts last week, the venue is set to host another thrilling NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series double-header, featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman.
Event Schedule for June 14
The program on Saturday, June 14, will feature qualifying events for both classes, culminating in a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature race and a 25-lap T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman feature. Fans can also bring rain checks or pit wristbands from May 17, as this will be the final opportunity to use those for this event.
Admission Details
Pit gates open at 4 PM, followed by grandstand gates at 5:30 PM, and warm-ups beginning at 6:15 PM. The first race of the evening is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM. Admission prices are $20 for adults in the grandstand, $10 for students aged 10-15 with ID, and free for children aged 9 and under. Pit admission is priced at $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
Upcoming Thunder on the Hill Racing Series
The Thunder on the Hill Racing Series will return with its second event on Tuesday, June 17, featuring the Jesse Hockett Classic for USAC National Sprint Cars as part of the Eastern Storm series opener. This exciting racing program will include time trials and qualifying heats, leading up to a 40-lap feature event that pays $6,000 to the winner. The 358 Modifieds will also compete with qualifying events, followed by a 30-lap feature that offers a possible $2,000 bonus for a first-time winner.
Title Chase Update
With last Saturday’s cancellation, the championship chase remains unchanged, with Brett Kressley leading the T.P. Trailer Modified standings and Colin Cox at the top of the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman standings. Currently, the top ten drivers in the T.P. Trailer Modified points are close, with Kressley leading with 1,094 points. In the Sportsman standings, Colin Cox holds a steady lead with 789 points.
Grandview Speedway’s Legacy
Since the 1960s, Grandview Speedway has been a premier location for NASCAR stock car racing every Saturday from April to October, including special events. The facility is situated at 43 Passmore Road, Bechtelsville, PA 19505, just off Route 100, about ten miles north of Pottstown, PA.
