Exciting Racing Night at Grandview Speedway
Saturday night at Grandview Speedway was filled with thrilling racing action. Jared Umbenhaur from Richland, Pa. clinched victory in the 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified main event, while Dylan Swinehart from Fleetwood, Pa. executed a last-minute pass to win the 25-lap T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman feature race.
Umbenhaur’s Impressive Comeback
Starting in fifteenth place, Umbenhaur navigated the outside lane to move up the ranks. He engaged in a six-lap duel with Eddie Strada of Lake Ariel, Pa. before seizing the lead on lap nineteen. He then pulled away to secure his first T.P. Trailer Modified win of the season, marking him as the twelfth different feature winner this year.
Swinehart’s Nail-Biting Finish
Swinehart officially led just one lap in the Sportsman feature—the final one! Starting in twelfth, he steadily advanced and joined a thrilling three-car battle for the lead midway through the race. Swinehart triumphed in a close drag race off turn four, achieving his first win of the year and his ninth career victory in the division.
Bonuses and Sponsorships
Both winners received cash bonuses ($300 for Modified and $200 for Sportsman) from T.P. Trailers and Truck Equipment, sponsors for the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series event, which was additionally supported by PWD Lubricants.
Race Highlights
The T.P. Trailer Modified feature began with a chaotic start when Matt Yoder and Ron Haring Jr. battled side-by-side until Yoder hit the wall, resulting in several cars being involved. Justin Grim initially took the lead on the subsequent restart. As drivers like Jared Umbenhaur and Mike Gular advanced from the back, the competition intensified throughout the race.
Competitive Field
Umbenhaur maintained pressure on Strada after claiming the lead on lap nineteen. As the race wound down, he established a significant lead over his competitors, ultimately taking the checkered flag. Other notable finishes included Duane Howard, who rose impressively from 22nd place, and Ryan Watt among the top five.

Grandview Speedway will host another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts weekly program featuring the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, along with Pro 4 Racing Series on August 30. The event will begin with qualifying events and conclude with the main races. Competitive racing continues with special events planned through September.
