Grandview Speedway’s Upcoming NASCAR Event
Building on a successful previous event, Grandview Speedway is set to host a two-division NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series featuring Modifieds and Sportsman this Saturday night.
Event Schedule for May 17
This Saturday, May 17, Grandview Speedway will feature the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds alongside the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman. The program will comprise qualifying heats for both divisions, culminating in a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modifieds feature and a 25-lap T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman main event.
New Starting Time for Summer Events
The starting time for the show has been adjusted to 7:30 PM on May 17, and this will apply to all Saturday events throughout the summer.
Admission Prices and Gates Opening
Pit gates will open at 4 PM, while grandstand gates will open at 5:30 PM. Warm-ups will begin at 6:30 PM, leading to the first race of the evening starting at 7:30 PM. Ticket prices are set at $20 for adults, $10 for students ages 10-15 with ID, and free for children aged 9 and under. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
Upcoming Twin Features on June 21
Thunder on the Hill Series Event
The first event of the Thunder on the Hill racing series is on Tuesday, May 20, featuring the Rich Mar Florist Kubota High Limit 410 Sprints. This mid-week race will include time trials and qualifying rounds, culminating in a 35-lap feature with a prize of $20,000 for the winner and $1,500 for those starting in the main event. Vintage cars will also participate with two 12-lap features.
Current Points Standings and Upcoming Events
As of now, Brett Kressley leads the T.P. Trailer Modified points after last week’s races. In the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, Colin Cox currently holds the top position. Make sure to check out the upcoming events: May 24 will feature an exciting triple-header with both Modifieds and Sportsman, along with the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars returning for their first night of the season.
