Choosing the best truck stops varies based on individual needs.
Trucker Path, a mobile application, recently revealed its annual rankings of truck stops, highlighting offerings and customer service. Over a million drivers using the app selected the top truck stop chains and independent sites.
“The top truck stops earn this accolade from their customers,” stated Chris Oliver, CMO of Trucker Path. “Winning this award signifies that the 2025 recipients excelled in their services and dedication to customer care, standing out among over 9,000 truck stops and roughly 10,000 additional fueling locations available on the app. We are proud to feature the best facilities for truck drivers, aligning with our goal to enhance their experiences on the road.”
2025 Overall Winner and Recognition
The Tiffin River Service Plaza in West Unity, Ohio, has been named the overall champion of the Top 100 Truck Stops and the Top 5 Independent Truck Stops. This facility is located at Milepost 20.8 Eastbound on the Ohio Turnpike, providing a network of service plazas spaced every 30 to 50 miles. The plaza boasts a Truckers Lounge with convenient access to a 110-space commercial truck parking area, dedicated restrooms, complimentary showers, coin-operated laundry, a food court, convenience store, and lottery gaming terminals. It also accepts a variety of fuel and fleet cards.

Ahmed, P.E., executive director of the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission. “We take pride in knowing the Tiffin River location has been rated as the top spot in the nation for clean and safe facilities that truckers appreciate.”
Methodology and Rankings
To compile the annual Top Truck Stops list, Trucker Path analyzed in-app ratings and reviews collected over the previous 12 months. The rankings highlight both chain and independent truck stops based on their ratings. Truckers nationwide can identify the Top 100 Truck Stops by looking for a window decal recognizing their achievements in the annual ranking.
