New Leadership Announcement at Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment
Jon Sievert, President of the Work Truck Solutions Group at Douglas Dynamics, has announced the appointment of Patrick Miller as the new President of Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment, LLC.
Patrick Miller’s Experience
Miller brings extensive experience in the truck equipment sector, having most recently served as President and CEO of the Commercial Vehicle Group in Ohio.
Early Career and Transition
He began his career in various manufacturing positions within the automotive component supply chain. Miller then progressed into managerial roles encompassing sales, product engineering, and purchasing before moving into general management. Fifteen years ago, he joined a firm focused on the commercial vehicle market, specializing in seats, interiors, and electrical systems.
Miller’s Vision for Dejana
According to Miller, “Dejana has established a solid business foundation with an excellent reputation among its customer base, while Douglas Dynamics is recognized in the industry for promoting a culture of high performance and integrity.” He expressed his enthusiasm for joining the team, stating he feels a strong connection to the company.
Global Management Experience
Throughout his career, Miller has led teams across 12 countries, supporting major OEMs in the Heavy Duty Truck and off-road vehicle sectors, including notable companies such as Daimler, Navistar, Volvo, CAT, and John Deere. He has also been involved in various industry organizations, including the Heavy Duty Manufacturing Association (HDMA) and the Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC).
Dejana’s Commitment to the Work Truck Industry
Dejana is making significant efforts to deepen its engagement in the work truck industry. Earlier this year, Sievert was appointed as the 57th Board Chair of NTEA – The Association for the Work Truck Industry during Work Truck Week 2021.
