New Services for Truck and Bus Customers
Customers of Daimler Truck Financial Services, particularly those operating trucks and buses, will soon have access to comprehensive commercial insurance advisory services as a result of this new agreement with Marsh, known for its expertise in insurance brokerage and risk management.
Optimizing Insurance Programs
The initiative focuses on a complete reassessment and reorganization of insurance solutions for customers of Daimler Truck Financial Services. This aims to enhance their insurance programs, providing benefits including Motor Insurance, Guaranteed Asset Protection, Goods in Transit, Business Operational Liability, and Driver Insurance policies.
Customer Focus and Value
Stephan Unger, a Board Member of Daimler Truck Group and CEO of Daimler Truck Financial Services, remarked, “By expanding our insurance services through collaboration with Marsh, we empower our customers and dealers to concentrate on their core operations, all while optimizing the total cost of ownership of their vehicles with their insurance and risk requirements being effectively managed.”
Addressing Insurance Gaps for SMEs
Phil Hobson, Affinity Leader at Marsh International, noted the challenges faced by small and medium-sized trucking companies, which often opt for minimal coverage to keep costs down. This can leave them vulnerable in the event of significant losses. The goal is to assist Daimler Truck Financial Services’ customers in establishing effective, affordable insurance programs that provide peace of mind.
