The report indicated that a malicious actor accessed a database containing files related to both current and former employees using a brute force attack.

Following the breach, Bruckner’s Truck & Equipment initiated an investigation to assess the situation. The company confirmed that sensitive personal data might have been accessed by an unauthorized individual between May 20 and May 21, 2025.

On July 9, 2025, Bruckner’s Truck & Equipment began mailing notification letters to those affected by the breach. The correspondence offered a detailed list of the sensitive information that was compromised and included an offer of 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.
