Rescued Macaw Wins Hearts Online with Hilarious Language
Talking animals have always captured our attention, but not all are as entertaining as some. While many birds stick to safe phrases, there are those that express themselves in more colorful ways.
Meet Hendrix, the rescued Macaw known for his outrageous language. His conversations are definitely not for the sensitive, but they are undeniably amusing!
Thanks to @nbcnews, Hendrix’s humorous antics have reached a wider audience. The Massachusetts-based bird has mastered basic phrases like saying “thank you,” “cracker,” and “good morning, baby.” However, it’s his clever use of explicit language that is really captivating audiences online.
Described as a “lovely bird with a truck driver’s vocabulary,” the shelter jokingly warns potential adopters that “adopting him is like bringing Samuel L. Jackson into your home.” That’s quite the playful description!
Despite staff at Forever Paws Animal Shelter trying to remain stoic and not encourage Hendrix’s potty mouth, they sometimes can’t contain their laughter. Employee Chantelle Rogers mentioned that there are instances when they need to step away just to have a good laugh.
It’s uncertain whether Hendrix realizes the comedic effect of his words. Perhaps the element of surprise gives him enjoyment. Regardless of his motivations, he’s certainly making a name for himself in the avian community by flaunting the rules.
As reported, Hendrix received a flood of adoption applications after word spread about his colorful language, and he’s now settled into a loving home in southern Maine, where he’ll surely continue to test his limits! Another bird known for its outspoken nature is Preston, an infamous Cockatoo who also enjoys expressing himself, albeit in a less explicit manner.
Could you imagine the mischief that would unfold if Hendrix and Preston met? Both are adorably unapologetic for their comments, providing top-notch entertainment to their fans. R-rated or not, their vocal talents deserve a round of applause!
