Ace Doran Enhances Transportation Services with NHH Services Acquisition
Ace Doran has bolstered its transportation capabilities by acquiring the equipment operations of NHH Services, which brings in 50 trucks and a skilled heavy-haul team to its network.
On February 25, the Cincinnati-based carrier announced that former employees, contractors, drivers, and agents from NHH Services, located in Tipton, Indiana, will transition into a newly established division within Ace Doran.
NHH Services, established in 2012, specializes in heavy haul, flatbed, general freight, and project-based transportation services throughout the U.S. and Canada. This acquisition enhances Ace Doran’s Midwest presence and strengthens its capabilities for handling oversized and complex freight movements.
“We are thrilled to bring the excellent team from NHH Services into the Ace Doran family,” stated Jim Collins, president of Ace Doran. “Their extensive customer relationships and expertise in heavy-haul logistics will significantly enhance our position in the heavy-haul market and enable us to better serve complex transportation needs across the country.”
The acquisition aligns with Ace Doran’s broader strategy for growth, focusing on increasing specialized capacity through strategic team additions. The company previously revitalized its RoadMasters division in 2025, which expanded its influence in the U.S. Southwest, and this latest acquisition continues that trend.
NHH Services was founded by professionals with deep industry roots, earning a solid reputation for handling project freight and owner-operator operations. By integrating NHH’s resources, Ace Doran will enhance its flatbed and open-deck transportation services with additional drivers, operational staff, and specialized knowledge.
According to company officials, this strategic move allows Ace Doran to significantly expand its heavy-haul capacity and provide tailored transportation solutions for customers managing complex freight across North America.
