WisDOT Seeks Input on Truck Parking Shortages

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is reaching out to truck drivers to gather their insights on the ongoing issue of parking shortages in the state.

Survey for Truckers

WisDOT has launched a survey aimed at drivers and trucking companies to identify the areas in Wisconsin where truck parking is most inadequate. They are interested in receiving suggestions for improvements and any other factors to consider regarding trucking facilities.

Purpose of the Survey

According to WisDOT, “By participating in this survey, your feedback will guide the department in determining where additional truck parking capacity is necessary and what enhancements can be made statewide.” They emphasize that all responses will remain completely anonymous, and the survey should take about 12 minutes to finish. If participants wish to stop early, they can submit their responses by clicking the submit button at the bottom.

Survey Timeline

The survey will remain accessible until January 19, 2026, and its findings will contribute to a comprehensive study on truck parking in Wisconsin.

Safety Reminder

WisDOT stresses that “Your safety is our highest priority.” As such, they advise against attempting to fill out the survey while operating a vehicle.
