[Warning: The below contains spoilers for Ice Road Truckers Season 12]

Biggest Job of the Season

Todd Dewey, Lisa Kelly, and Scott “Scooter” Yuill were back on the road in the latest episode of
Ice Road Truckers. On November 12, they received a critical assignment from Bill Danh,
operations director at Muskie Creek, sending them to Fort Severn alongside Todd Friesen, nicknamed
“Muskie.”

Convoy’s Tasks

Their convoy split into two groups: one headed to a water treatment facility to deliver clean water,
while the other transported building materials for homes. Additionally, they had to rescue two buried
trucks and collect a backhaul, which was essential for their payment. Bill emphasized teamwork before
they embarked on their thousand-mile journey.

Challenges Along the Route

The drivers faced the world’s longest and most treacherous ice road, battling uneven terrain and
extreme cold at -23 degrees. Their mission led them to what was termed an equipment graveyard,
where they encountered the trucks that needed to be unstuck. Todd spearheaded the recovery efforts,
while “Muskie” attempted to use his winch truck.

Tensions Rise

The recovery plan faced obstacles, leading to disagreements between Scooter and Todd. Tensions flared
as Scooter expressed frustration over Todd’s approach, prompting Lisa to feel stuck between two strong
personalities. Eventually, the two reached a mutual understanding after addressing their differences.

Desperate Measures

After four hours with little progress, they turned to a crane for assistance, risking damage to the
truck in the process. With options running low, they contacted Bill for help, and although he was
frustrated, he recognized the urgency of finding a solution.

Reflection and Hope

As night fell, Todd, Lisa, and Scooter gathered around a fire, reflecting on their experiences this
season and strengthening their bond. Bill managed to locate a dozer for them, raising hopes for a
breakthrough in their mission.

A Cautionary Journey

Meanwhile, Zach and Riley Harris traveled to Fond du Lac to meet their father, Shaun. Riley aimed to
prove his ability to manage anxiety on the job. Shaun reminded his sons to keep a safe distance between
their trucks as they approached a dangerous ice crossing on Lake Athabasca. They were reminded of the job’s seriousness when passing a site where a family member had died.

As they reached Uranium City, a ghost town, Shaun shared this significant milestone with his sons.
However, Zach’s truck got stuck, requiring help from Shaun to continue their journey.

Ice Road Truckers airs Wednesdays at 9:30/8:30c on the History Channel. Stay tuned for the latest entertainment news on TV Insider.
