Particularly, line cooks have seen a 66% increase in demand, while other roles such as food and beverage assistants (60%), commis (52%), chefs (47%), and bartenders (46%) have also recorded substantial gains in job postings during the first half of the year.

Indeed reported that overall job postings in Ireland are currently 20% higher than pre-pandemic levels, despite a decline from the COVID peaks. However, Dublin’s job postings remain 11% below pre-pandemic figures, attributed to its vulnerability to slowdowns in professional fields.
