Fleeting is a trucking and fleet management services company owned by Black entrepreneurs. Its mission is to enhance the commercial freight sector by utilizing technology to connect truck owners, drivers, shippers, and brokers.
Recent Investment
In May 2021, Fleeting, located in Brooklyn, NY, secured a seed investment of $500,000 from NBA star Kyrie Irving, who is also the founder of KAI 11 Consulting, alongside venture capital firm Lockstep Ventures.
Support from Investors
Marcus Glover, co-founder of Lockstep Ventures and a mentor to founder Pierre Laguerre, expressed his support by stating, “Back when Pierre began Fleeting, it was an obvious choice for me to invest. He is an innovative leader addressing long-standing gaps in the trucking industry, especially focusing on underrepresented groups like women and individuals who have been incarcerated.”
