Exciting Changes at Grandview Speedway!

Get ready for an action-packed Saturday at Grandview Speedway! After experiencing their fourth weather-related postponement in the first five weeks of the 2025 season last Saturday, the track is set to make a big comeback with a revamped race format to tackle the unpredictable Spring weather.

This Saturday, the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds will showcase TWIN 25 LAP feature races, alongside the usual qualifying events. Additionally, the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman will have their own qualifying and a thrilling 25-lap main event, resulting in THREE 25-lap Feature races in one exciting night!

The management at Grandview Speedway is committed to giving their dedicated fans and drivers a chance to make up for some of the missed races by adding an extra feature to this week’s program. This will mark the first double-feature racing event on a Saturday night since the 2014 season, generating high anticipation and excitement.

Both Twin 25-lap features for the T.P. Trailer Modifieds will offer a winning purse of $2000, plus an extra $300 bonus from T.P. Trailer & Truck Equipment, totaling $2300 for the winner of each feature. There’s even more at stake: if a driver wins both Twin features, they can earn an additional $1000 bonus, potentially bringing their winnings to a staggering $5600!

The lineup for the Twin 25-lap features will be determined by the track’s handicapping system, which will also include a complete recalculation of points between features, just like a night when a carryover feature is run. Similarly, the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman will have their own TWIN 20’s race program scheduled for June.

Pit gates will open at 3 pm on Saturday, with grandstand gates following at 4:30 pm. Warm-ups are set for 5:30 pm, and the first race will begin at 6:30 pm. Grandstand admission prices are $25 for adults, $10 for students aged 10-15 with ID, and free for kids under 9. Pit admission is $35 with a license and $45 without.

Grandview Speedway has additional events lined up this weekend, starting with the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Vintage Cars along with the Xcel 600 Modifieds on Friday, May 9, at 7 pm.
