Acknowledging the Hard Work of Truck Drivers

Truck drivers often face long hours on the road, along with loading and unloading delays, and they deserve appreciation for their efforts. In recent years, especially during challenging times, the crucial role of truckies in keeping Australia moving has been highlighted.

Introduction of Oz Truckers

To acknowledge the hard work of Australian truck drivers, a new initiative called Oz Truckers has been launched as of April 1. This subscription service offers a variety of discounts specifically designed for truck drivers, helping them save on essentials such as fuel and vehicle maintenance from the Kimberley to Koroit.

Addressing Industry Needs

According to Andrew ‘Drew’ Davis, the founder of Oz Truckers, his discussions with owner drivers and smaller transport companies revealed significant financial challenges they face. This inspired him to create a platform that provides valuable discounts and rewards to improve drivers’ lives.

Building a Community of Savings

Initially, Oz Truckers will focus on providing benefits to smaller owner drivers and transport companies, with plans to expand to larger fleets. The service aims to cultivate an online community where drivers can access savings on fuel, parts, servicing, and more while also enjoying discounts on lifestyle-related expenses such as travel and gym memberships.

Membership Benefits and Costs

Membership to Oz Truckers is priced at up to $79 per month, with expected savings potentially reaching $500 monthly on fuel alone. Additional benefits include truck and trailer financing options and lifestyle packages for drivers with employer benefits.

Partnering with Businesses for Enhanced Benefits

Drew and his team have established partnerships across various industries to deliver significant savings to truck drivers. By catering to their specific needs, the initiative aims to ease the financial pressures faced by truckies. The community-driven approach is already drawing positive responses from both drivers and transport businesses.

A Future-Focused Initiative

The Oz Truckers website is now live, and efforts are underway to finalize partnerships with more companies to augment membership benefits. Future plans include promoting healthier lifestyle choices for drivers and enhancing road safety. Drew is optimistic that Oz Truckers will revolutionize the trucking community in Australia.

Stay updated for further details and special rates as the initiative evolves, as Drew expresses confidence that the benefits will significantly outweigh membership costs while contributing to a safer and more efficient trucking environment.
