Ex-Guard Launches FX and HX Series Heavy Duty Grille Guards

Ex-Guard has introduced the FX and HX Series Heavy Duty Grille Guards tailored for Class 2-5 vehicles.

Commitment to Durability and Design

“For nearly 20 years, Ex-Guard has set new standards for durability and design in protecting Class 8 semi-trucks in North America,” stated Jeremy Drever, Ex-Guard’s director of engineering. “We are now extending that high level of protection to heavy-duty pickups and chassis.”

Protection for Various Vehicles

The newly launched grille guards provide robust protection for a range of full-size and heavy-duty pickup trucks and chassis.

Future Expansion Plans

In addition to the current offerings, Ex-Guard plans to extend its product line to cover more work vehicles, including models from Toyota, Rivian, cargo vans, and full-size SUVs.

Advanced Features of FX and HX Series

The FX and HX Series Grille Guards are made from 11-gauge high-tensile steel and come with a smart design and EVRCoatTM PVC coating that protects against rust caused by road wear and harsh weather. These new guards are also compatible with the ClearZone collision mitigation system (CMS), ensuring that its functionality is unaffected by the guards. The ClearZone features are designed to integrate seamlessly with adaptive cruise control and parking sensors.

Impact Absorption and Cost Efficiency

Ex-Guard Grille Guards are engineered to absorb collision impacts and evenly distribute force. With these grille guards, business owners and fleet managers have achieved a 97% reduction in front-end replacement parts costs and an 80% decrease in towable accidents. This level of safety and financial benefit is now available to heavy-duty pickup truck owners as well.
